“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

~ Matthew 28:19, NLT

Crossroads Ministries

  • Sunday Fellowship

There is nothing better than connecting with family and friends. Time spent in each others presence reminiscing on past memories, making new memories, and talking about life brings warmth to the soul. We often say, “Why don’t we get together like we used to? People just don’t visit anymore.”

Every Sunday morning at 10:15, we meet in the Fellowship Hall to drink coffee, eat goodies, and just have some “old fashioned” visiting. Come be with us every Sunday for fellowship, then Sunday Worship at 11:00.

  • Community Book Club

Where are all the book lovers? Books can take you places that you cannot imagine. Books can help build character, improve your imagination, and challenge self growth. We want to create an environment to where we can build relationships with one another. In fact, that is what Jesus’ ministry is all about, relationships. In Crossroads Community Book Club, you will find people who want to connect with the characters in the books we read, and see how God is challenging us to improve ourselves.

We meet once a month for a couple of hours to discuss the book we just read. A new book will be chosen for the next month at the end of the discussion. As any reader knows, books can pile up quick. The books we don’t want to keep, can be donated to places like nursing homes, hospitals, and homeless shelters, etc.

Anyone can be apart of the Crossroads Community Book Club. You do not have to be a member of Crossroads Church to participate in the club. However, if you do not have a place to call home, we at Crossroads Church would love to make you apart of our family!

  • The New Testament In A Year

If you’re not used to reading the Bible daily, start with this easy to use tool to read a chapter of the New Testament in 5 minutes a day. This reading plan will take you through all 260 chapters of the New Testament, one chapter per day. The Gospels are read throughout the year to weave in the story of Jesus all year long.

Determine a time and location to spend 5 minutes a day for 5 days a week. It is best to have a consistent time and a quiet place where you can regularly meet with the Lord.

Pause in your reading to dig into the Bible. Below are 5 different ways to dig deeper each day. These exercises will encourage meditation. Try a single idea for a week to find what works best for you. Remember to keep a pen and paper ready to capture God’s insights: 1) Underline or highlight key words or phrases in the Bible passage. Use a pen or highlighter to mark new discoveries from the text. 2) Put it in your own words. Read the passage or verse slowly, then rewrite each phrase or sentence using your own words. 3) Ask and answer questions. Questions unlock new discoveries and meanings. Ask questions about the passage using these words: who, what, why, when, where, or how. Jot down your answers to these questions. 4) Capture the big idea. God’s Word communicates big ideas. Periodically ask: what’s the big idea in this sentence, paragraph, or chapter? 5) Personalize the meaning. Respond as God speaks to you through the Scriptures. Ask: how could my life be different today as I respond to what I’m reading?
